Note: These people need volunteers for helping the Houston kids with homeworks and also arrange sporting activities. Contact: Robert Galan 713 923 2316 Ex 234. These people are located close to I-45 and 610.

Note: The volunteer are need to provide companionship to the terminally ill patients. Spend time with them, read books, play chess etc. Phone: 713 592 5600

  1. Muscular Dystrophy Association Summer Camp:
Note: In this camp which happens once a year a volunteer is assigned to one patient, and he/she takes care of the patient’s needs for the duration of the camp. www.mdausa.org .   1. Ronald McDonald House of Houston: The place where the PSST members went to do the volunteer work. For volunteer call Leslie Parry, director of volunteer services (713)795 3593. The information brochure that was provided at the Rice Volunteer fair did not have any information of a website. Call !!

  1. The fair was called 2005 Good Words Volunteer Fair: Look for the schedule on the Rice webpage. Contact the organizer and let them know of the blog entry.
